Funeral services for Wilfred Greve, 70, who died at 8:30 a.m. Saturday in the Ben Hur Home at Crawfordsville were held at 10 a.m. Monday at Machledt & Servies Funeral Home, Rev. Walter Porter the officiating minister, with burial at Maple Ridge Cemetery. Mr. Greve was a native of Illinois born June 26, 1896 to Henry and Annie Hiet Greve. He was married in Illinois to Beulah Quick on Dec 12, 1917. She died last May. He was a member of the Waveland Covenant Church, Waveland F&AM Lodge 300 and Order 439, Modern Woodmen Lodge and Brown Township Farm Bureau. He had lived in this community the past 45 years. Surviving are a son, Robert of Waveland; two daughters, Mrs. Earl McCauley of Darlington and Mrs. Robert Sewell of Speedway City; a brother Emil of Darlington; 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews - kbz
